At Cars & Canines, our mission goes beyond hosting events. It’s about creating real opportunities for dogs in need to find loving homes. That’s why we are proud to support and work alongside 2 Rivers Dog Rescue, an organization dedicated to giving second chances to dogs who need them most.
2 Rivers Dog Rescue takes in a wide range of dogs, including some of the toughest and most urgent cases. Many of the pups they rescue come from situations where their futures were uncertain: dogs scheduled for euthanasia in shelters, dogs rescued from hoarding cases, and even dogs with special medical or behavioral needs. Their team works tirelessly to give each dog the care, rehabilitation, and love they deserve while they wait for the right family to come along.
This post is dedicated to highlighting some of the incredible pups currently looking for their forever families. Each one has their own story, personality, and so much love to give. Whether they’re playful, loyal, gentle, or full of energy, they’re all waiting for someone to give them the second chance they deserve.

Meet T-Bone — a fun-loving, energetic boy who’s ready to bring a whole lot of joy to his forever home!
At about a year and a half old, T-Bone is the perfect mix of playful energy and growing maturity. He absolutely loves toys and will happily keep you entertained with his goofy personality and enthusiasm for playtime.
T-Bone does great with other dogs, and he’s also good with cats and kids, making him a wonderful addition to many types of families. Like many playful pups, he can sometimes get a little protective of his toys around other dogs, so he just needs a watchful eye during playtime.
He’s already off to a great start with his manners! T-Bone has completed basic obedience training and is both potty trained and crate trained. He’ll thrive with a confident, consistent owner who can continue guiding him and bringing out his best.

Logan is the kind of dog who reminds you how wonderful the simple things in life can be. He’s always happy and even has his own adorable “happy dance” when he gets excited to see you!
This sweet boy gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids, making him an easy addition to almost any family. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to relax with, Logan would be perfectly content curling up beside you on the couch and enjoying quiet time together.
He’s also a very well-mannered gentleman — potty trained and crate trained, and ready to settle right into his new home.

If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing best friend who will brighten every day, Logan is ready to dance his way right into your heart.
Meet Butters — a truly special boy with a story of resilience and a heart full of love.
Butters came to us as a cruelty case after being severely starved, but thanks to lots of care, patience, and love, he has made an incredible recovery. Now that he’s healthy and thriving, he’s ready to find the forever family he has always deserved.
Despite everything he’s been through, Butters is an amazing, loving dog who enjoys being around people and soaking up affection. He does great with other dogs and kids, making him a wonderful companion for a family home. We’re still unsure how he does with cats, so slow introductions would be recommended.
Butters is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped, so he’s all set to start his new life with his forever family.

At just about 8 months old, Annie is still a happy puppy who loves everything and everyone she meets. She’s full of life, curiosity, and excitement, and she’s always ready for her next adventure — whether that’s playtime, walks, or snuggling up after a busy day.
Annie is already off to a great start with her manners. She is spayed, potty trained, and crate trained, making the transition into her new home even easier.
